Motor Control Center Replacements
Trindera has assisted in the replacement of multiple aging 480V and 2.4kV motor control centers for industrial plants. Our efforts begin with field investigation of the existing motor control center including documentation of all conduits and conductors routed into and out of the MCC as well as verification of one-line diagrams and motor elementaries. The design work consists of load calculations, creating conduit and conductor schedules, updating elementary diagrams, incorporating new control features often including addition of communication with existing or new controllers. Trindera provides construction support to the electrical contractor as well as commissioning assistance during startup.
The Trindera team assists in the planning and capital request stages by evaluating existing configurations and providing options to consolidate motor control centers through using existing spares, completely replace with new, or even in some cases replace aging components with new to provide the optimal solution for safety, control and budget.
